Our cultured freshwater pearls made in stunning and unique designs allow every woman to own these precious gems. We see each woman's life as a pearl: created from perseverance, pain, and joy. When different pearls are connected in a strand, it creates a beautiful memory to pass down for generations to come.
The Roaring Twenties
The 1920's "flapper" girls are famously known for their long strings of pearls. During this time, cultured pearls were becoming more affordable and seen as the "must-have" signature fashion piece.
Golden Age of Hollywood
In the 1950s, pearls enjoyed a boom in popularity because they were seen on famous actresses in popular films and ads from prominent designers. Strand lengths were usually very short so they could be seen above a modest neckline.
1980s - 2000s
Between the 1960's and 1980, pearls became less popular as the popularity of cheap costume jewelry rose as did the eco-friendly movement. By the time the 80's rolled around, pearls were reclaimed by royals such as Princess Diana and politicians' wives.
2000s - Present
For the past few decades, pearls have been worn as an upper-class status symbol by politician's wives, celebrities, and by world-class women fighting for good causes. Pop icons such as Ariana Grande and Rihanna are styling pearls in chic, modern ways with hair pieces, chunky sunglasses and chokers.
